Elon Musk: Ditch dollar, buy stocks — but I’m not selling my bitcoin

>**Buy stocks**

Inflation is an **economic challenge**. Depending on how you rise to the challenge, you will be:

* **fragile**: you do worse under this particular challenge
* **robust**: the challenge does not affect you much
* **antifragile**: you even do better under this particular challenge

The **outcome** will depend on:

* how well you can prevent **your suppliers** from passing on price increases to you
* how well you can force the matter and pass on price increases to **your customers**

Elon Musk seems to believe that listed corporations are always robust or antifragile.

This is, however, not possible, because:

In the context of business-to-business transactions, the existence of one antifragile company implies the existence of at least one fragile one. In other words, how can everybody be a winner in what is **essentially a zero-sum game**?

Hence, there exist corporations that — when faced with the inflation challenge — will simply crash and burn. **Don’t buy their stock!**
