This is a big deal , but please remember. The buyer needs to have the fiat / bitcoin available and not be financing the purchase.

My wife and I run a small business in the USA, most people pay with a *credit card *, aka , they finance it. And granted most may just go home and pay the monthly bill off, it still isn’t paid for at the time of purchase.

I think Businesses will need to incentivize people to use this for it to succeed. Give 2% off, give 2% bitcoin back , *something*. I don’t see this organically taking off due to Americans reliance on credit and not thinking about the actual merchant.

Curious other peoples opinions. But I do think after unpacking it this will NOT eliminate 3% of fees for merchants simply because most people still can’t afford to not use credit. But hope I’m wrong.

I see this evolving almost into a merchant processor being used for transactions over $1000 where there may be chargebacks / disputes / and the need for intermediary and financing. But a Transaction under $50 that would never need an intermediary this would be AMAZING. Just a coffee, or chipotle, or whatever this would be perfect for.
