NFTs have been gaining massive traction in 2021 and 2022 seems to be the year for them as well.

The Kryptomon team finished 2021 with massive moves regarding boosting NFTs. They have officially released the public version 1.0 of the much-awaited NFT game and revealed Full Moon Treasure Hunt event.

Full Moon Treasure Hunt game event goes live

Back on December 13, the game went live and 4,500 players from all over the world logged in and took their first steps in becoming a Kryptomon trainer.

This will remain an important date for trainers who have been eagerly waiting for the launch of this game. The date also marks an important milestone for the Kryptomon Company.

The event is the first one of its kind in the crypto space.

Kryptomon is a unique event amongst the Play-To-Earn NFT games considering the fact that trainers have to care for their Kryptomon if they hope to someday become the Kryptomon League Champion.

As the official press release notes, the “Tamagotchi Phase”, Kryptomon, is the first company in the world to create a “living” NFT creature on the blockchain.

It’s interesting to note the fact that just like real pets, Kryptomons have their own likes and dislikes, preferred foods, and immune systems which need trainers to excel both as a breeder and a battler as a Kryptomon’s “happiness” will directly impact its ability to fight.

The first event of its kind

The firm also launched the Full Moon Treasure Hunt event. Starting December 19th, 2021, players from all over the world were able to use mobile phones and track down Kryptomon loot boxes and eggs just like Pokemon Go.

The event is an original one in the crypto gaming space and players were able to find and earn real-world NFTs.

Data from the official press release notes that the numbers released by the company show the following:

“thousands of players (4,276 to be exact) out on their feet as they attempted to find “mystery boxes” over the course of the 3 day event. In total, the event has seen trainers walking away with a whooping $156,000 worth of eggs and loot boxes!”

It’s also important to note the fact that one lucky player has even found the rarest prize of them all, a Generation 0 Kryptomon egg.

Also, note that only 100 Generation 0 eggs will ever exist and the last one was sold on secondary markets for upwards of $25,000.

The company revealed that this will not be their last Treasure Hunt event and you should definitely stay tuned for more details that will come soon.
