NASCAR Says No to “Let’s Go Brandon” Sponsorship

According to a source, NASCAR refused the sponsorship with Xfinity Series driver Brandon Brown having Cryptocurrency as a part of a meme coin named LGBcoin. This meme coin refers to the Let’s Go Brandon. Brown did announce this no sponsorship deal by posting a video of the car on his social media account.
According to reports, NASCAR had no communication with Brandonbilt Motorsports before taking any decision about canceling the deal, and multiple levels of attempts for conversation address the matter.
Brandonbilt Motorsports is following a certain method to get the paint and sponsor approval and also get the same from NASCAR officials helping to make the decisions. The spokesperson further stated that they are quite disappointed about the leadership of NASCAR choosing the review the approval and feel they should gain all confidence backtracking also not gaslighting the team.
At each NASCAR level, they rely majorly on productive and amicable working relationships, just like any other team. Unfortunately, the ability of leadership by NASCAR is now threatening to strain our ties and puts us in a very unpleasant position once more.
As per the Washington Post, NASCAR management considered the proposal of sponsorship and explored all possible avenues. The team was informed of NASCAR’s decision Tuesday afternoon, according to Marcucci.
“NASCAR’s team was quite clear during a November meeting about the prospective sponsorship; there is no question of reference that is completely based on chant. The person clarified that NASCAR’s formal judgment is not related to any reversal but rather the governing body’s final word on the topic.
Brown further stated that he has no interest in getting into any political action. He is into car racing and is not interested in endorsing any brand.
