Love and presence are the greatest gifts we can give each other for the holidays. Shop In NYC

Do you have a love/hate relationship with Amazon? Shop in NYC is a digital marketplace for small businesses in New York City that aims to make it equally easy to buy from a wide variety of small producers. Offerings include spirits, pet supplies, board games and plenty more. They also offer same-day delivery within the Tri-State area.

Eighth Generation

Eighth Generation is a clothing and lifestyle shop owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe. They take custom designs from native artists and make them into beautiful blankets, clothes and art. 

Gorgeous items available include the The “Balance” Throw Blanket by Acoma Pueblo artist Michelle Lowden. They also have a new made-in-Seattle Wool Scarf by Shoshone-Bannock tattoo artist Kira Murillo. The Silver Arrowhead Necklace and Earrings by Ahsaki LaFrance Chachere (Navajo and African American) are also new additions to the company’s jewelry lines.

Kinfolk

Kinfolk Coop is a black owned and operated market for household goods. The site makes it easy to search through a curated collection of Black-owned national home and personal care products that are non-toxic and biodegradable.

Chawar

Chawar is made by Ecuador’s first all Indigenous women’s agave co-op preparing products for export. It’s a raw agave spirit whose name is inspired by the Quechua word chawarmishki which refers to the sweet sap of the agave plant. The plant is sustainably harvested, and the distiller is queer/Latinx owned.

ANOVÉ

ANOVÉ provides all-natural, plant-based skincare products. All ingredients are sustainably sourced with special attention given to small farms, and all products are inclusive, formulated for all skin tones and types.
