New Coins on Pancakeswap in 2022

Many crypto investors split their portfolio allocation up into partly majors – such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Cardano – and partly low marketcap altcoins such as new coins on Pancakeswap.

Smaller cryptocurrency exchanges such as Pancakeswap and Uniswap are known for newer altcoin ‘gems’ that haven’t yet ‘pumped’ by being listed on larger crypto exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase, where the trading volume and liquidity is higher.

Brand new Pancakeswap listings can also rally to high valuations in the early period of trading on Pancakeswap after concluding their presale – as during this time retail investor interest is highest and selling pressure lowest. They can then pump again when a listing on a larger exchange is confirmed, or other parts of their roadmap are finalized.

Gartner hype cycle for new coins

Many new altcoin charts resemble the Gartner hype cycle, also seen in other financial assets and types of investing – a high ROI for early investors when hype is strongest, followed by a selloff as some take profit, then a later rally as the fundamentals of the project get proven.

Buying new coins on Pancakeswap is a high risk/reward investing strategy – high risk as the price action will be volatile since liquidity is lower, and the coin might not make it onto larger exchanges or live up to its whitepaper. High reward in that altcoin projects that do succeed have much more potential upside than Bitcoin and other large caps which have already gone up thousands of percentage points.

In late 2021 Floki Inu (FLOKI) was considered the most promising new cryptocurrency to launch on Pancakeswap – investors hoped to buy the next Shiba Inu, a meme coin that rallied by several million percent after being promoted by Elon Musk and the Winklevoss twins.

Floki Inu has so far failed to be the next Shiba Inu despite promotion from Tyson Fury and other celebrities, and is yet to be listed on larger exchanges.

Lucky Block

New coin on Pancakeswap

Pancakeswap new listing LBLOCK

The newest coin on Pancakeswap launched a week ago on Jan 26th, 2022 – Lucky Block, with the ticker LBLOCK.

So far the price action has been positive, rallying over 1,000% within the first few days of trading before entering some sideways consolidation similar to a normal crypto cycle. The Economic Times rated Lucky Block one of the best new cryptos to buy in 2022.

The crypto lottery project aims to use blockchain technology to solve technical issues in the lottery and gambling industry and is filing applications to be listed on Binance, FTX and Kucoin.

Now is potentially a good time to invest as the Lucky Block price held the $0.001 support level on a retest and presale investors are subject to a smart contract lockup period on their tokens before they can sell.

Speculate with a small percentage of your portfolio on Pancakeswap new listings and only invest what you can afford to lose. Don’t go ‘all in’ on one crypto or token.

Investing in Pancakeswap coins is a slightly more advanced process than on other crypto exchanges, another reason why it can be profitable – see our Lucky Block guide to learn about buying coins on Pancakeswap.
