I’ve been convinced to move from coinbase to a paper wallet. I’ve tested moving a tiny bit, and then bringing it online to cash out if needed.

I’m fine with keeping it on paper or encrypted PDF.

I prefer paper over hardware wallets, because if you can’t trust banks, how can you trust the app owner or hardware manufacture to not have a way to kill it, or even go out of business, or the tech fails/gets hacked?

This past week has been a catalyst for me to get off of the exchanges, hopefully it’s a catalyst for mainstream common folk to go buy some, even if its 100 bucks, or 1000 worth.

I may start gifting wallets for b’days/weddings, etc instead of cash, hopefully to encourage friends, rather than pestering them about btc this and soapboxing like i’ve seen others do.
