I watched it a couple weeks ago and thought it was at least a nice effort by the guy to cover a huge topic. Many points I agreed with (*cough* ETH and NFTs are schemes *cough*), others I didn’t, but that doesn’t mean he’s wrong or I’m right, of course.
But this one is tough. On the one hand, kudos to him for trying – and I think he did try, or had a staff of people who tried.
On the other hand, he got a lot wrong, including by omission. I suspect some of this comes down to his own bias (which we all have one way or the other) which I won’t spell out – watch the video and spot it yourself. Because of this bias, he doesn’t think to discredit or see as a risk many of the problems in world economies and state power that *led to Bitcoin in the first place*. Of course if you don’t recognize that, you will come to see BTC as just a grift and energy drain, and indistinguishable from ETH and other coins.
NFTs do have some problems. If you want to learn more about it by people who actually understand Bitcoin, crypto, altcoins, and NFTs, go watch the **What Bitcoin Did** podcast. They cover it. Sadly YouTube “pro-Bitcoiners” attempted to reply to this guy’s video and they come out looking somehow *worse* than him. The company we keep, eh 😉
