Zai names former ANZ exec Sanjeev Kumar chief product officer

Based in Zai’s Singapore office, Sanjeev is tasked with driving Zai’s product strategy globally, including market expansion, research and design, as well as bank and payment schemes partnerships. One of his key responsibilities is to envision and build Zai’s futureproof embedded finance platform. Sanjeev has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and technology across Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to Zai, Sanjeev was the Senior Vice President at TerraPay. He has held various leadership positions at ANZ Banking Group and Visa, as well as executive positions in fintech start-ups across ASEAN region. Sanjeev is a serial entrepreneur and investor to several start-ups, and holds an engineering degree from University of Mysore, India.
