Today, PagoNxt, Banco Santander’s payments fintech, announces the appointment of Dean Nash as its new Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel.
Dean Nash is coming from online money payment company Wise where he spent the last two years as General Counsel. During his tenure, his team helped to make the company publicly listed at the London Stock Exchange and rebranded from TransferWise to Wise.

Javier San Felix, PagoNxt’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Dean Nash to PagoNxt as our new general counsel. As a world class lawyer and leader, he brings a wealth of experience in the financial sector. We’re excited to have him on board to help spearhead the great work our teams are doing.
Over the last 18 months, since its inception, PagoNxt has made great progress to become one of the top payments providers. We also saw increased legal needs to implement our strategy with several acquisitions, managing a portfolio of multi brands and multi services plus the addition of new countries where we operate. Dean’s expertise in payments and financial services in a multinational setting and his experience in navigating these complexities will be a key part of our next growth stage.”
