The “Demo Day” held on April 12th marked the conclusion of the first round of the acceleration program, which saw more than 300 applications, of which approximately 50% came from outside of Italy, demonstrating the relevance of the Italian market for the segments involved. During the event, the 16 participating startups presented their projects to over 200 participants representing all the promoters, partners, and numerous investors from the Italian ecosystem, showing the important growth achieved in these months of collaboration.

During the April event the next cycle of the program was announced which will offers an important opportunity for growth to early-stage startups, Italian and international, who intend to establish a presence in Italy. Applications can be submitted on the web site https://ift.tt/hQPprMG until September 2022.

The selected startups will benefit from an initial investment and an acceleration program that will be held between October to March, in which they will receive the support of a network of mentors, industry leaders as well as the venture capital world.

Many corporate members have already participated in this unique program: Anima Sgr, Banca CF+, Banca Mediolanum, Base Digitale, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, BNP Paribas Cardif, Compass, Credem, CRIF, Net Insurance, Nexi and Reale Group, already present in the first phase, have been joined by Intesa Sanpaolo. The technical partners, Studio Legale Ferrari Pedeferri Boni (FPB), ItaliaFintech, Italian Insurtech Association, Swiss Insurtech Hub, and Consob as institutional partner of the initiative through the Consob Tech working group, renew their commitment.

The three-year Fin+Tech program aims to create a strong ecosystem at national level able to increasingly attract startups and international investors, which will reinforce the Italian market on an international level.
