I’m worried that Coinbase might ban me

https://ift.tt/3pcfbsD

I have some BTC from a clean and pristine source, and I’ve been selling it on Coinbase throughout the year as I need funds for various things.

All was well, but recently I fell victim to a scam. I tried to purchase some miner hardware from a scam site without doing enough homework. I sent them the BTC from my wallet, and they took it and I never heard from them again.

Lesson learned, accept it and move on, right? Well now I’m worried that my wallet might be tainted, and that Coinbase might ban me the next time I try to sell anything from that wallet. I searched google for the payment address, and it comes up on [bitcoinabuse.com](https://ift.tt/3GApNaA), with one of the reports tagging it as associated with darknet markets. The address is bc1q2g8mhqn7pxj49sps425keaw6lw6rmtr50ynqg5.

What do you guys think? Is this a valid concern?

Edit: To clarify, I don’t keep any BTC on coinbase. I send from my local wallet to CB when I’m ready to sell, and I sent from the same local wallet to the scammer address.
