It’s time to read up on Bitcoin before FOMO and FUD take over again

The last weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster for many of us. I think it’s way easier to HODL and not get stressed out by prices if you know more about Bitcoin. The more you know, the clearer it becomes how convinced you really are about it. So in the following, I’ve collected my favorite sources of different ways to learn more about Bitcoin for you.

**Books**

Books take time but are the best way to learn about fundamentals in my opinion. I’ve read both of these and can recommend them, although for Mastering Bitcoin you’re likely to only be interested in the first chapters if you don’t have a technical background.

* The Bitcoin Standard: [https://saifedean.com/thebitcoinstandard/](https://saifedean.com/thebitcoinstandard/)
* Mastering Bitcoin: [https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook](https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook)

**Newsletters**

Newsletters are a great way to consistently learn more about Bitcoin and keep an overview, so I’m listing a few here.

* The Pomp Letter: [https://pomp.substack.com/](https://pomp.substack.com/)
* The Bitcoin Espresso: [https://www.thebitcoinespresso.com/](https://www.thebitcoinespresso.com/)
* Ecoinometrics: [https://ecoinometrics.substack.com/](https://ecoinometrics.substack.com/)

**Twitter**

Twitter is THE source for Bitcoin news and discussions. It’s definitely the fastest way to find out about what is happening.

* Dan Held: [https://twitter.com/danheld](https://twitter.com/danheld)
* Documenting Bitcoin: [https://twitter.com/DocumentingBTC](https://twitter.com/DocumentingBTC)
* Michael Saylor: [https://twitter.com/saylor](https://twitter.com/saylor)
* Rational Root: [https://twitter.com/therationalroot](https://twitter.com/therationalroot)

**Podcasts**

Podcasts are great for doing a dive into a specific topic of interest and for times when listening is more convenient than reading (commute,…):

* What Bitcoin Did: [https://www.whatbitcoindid.com/](https://www.whatbitcoindid.com/)
* Unscrypted/Speaking of Bitcoin: [https://aantonop.com/podcasts/](https://aantonop.com/podcasts/)
* Unchained: [https://unchainedpodcast.com/](https://unchainedpodcast.com/)

**YouTube**

If I’m looking for a bit more entertainment while keeping up with Bitcoin I pick YouTube. Honestly, I could use more recommendations here. I feel like most YouTube channels make FOMO/FUD worse. The only one I’ve seen so far that is based and that I liked is the one by Benjamin Cowen:

* Into the Crypto Verse: [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRvqjQPSeaWn-uEx-w0XOIg](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRvqjQPSeaWn-uEx-w0XOIg)

If I’ve missed a good source please share it in the comments for everyone!
