No living organism on Earth can live alone, we’re all part of an ecosystem. Flowers need bees to pollinate them. Humans need plants and animals to eat etc.
Bitcoin can be defined as a similar organism. It’s like a plant or a fungus.
Bitcoin work against entropy to bring order to a system using energy. It self-regulates as it grows and it’s resilient to attack or subversion. It incentivises humans to help it spread by rewarding them, the same way a strawberry plant produces fruit for mammals to eat and spread the seeds.
It’s distinct from other software (eg iOS, MS Excel) which are static copies of software that do not form a symbiosis with humans in order to grow, nor do they regulate their own growth and network. Most pieces of software will eventually break to be attacked. Bitcoin adapts and lives on.

I strongly believe we have big misconceptions about what AI and artificial life will look like. We all imagine human-like AI, communicating in English, often with a robot body. But I believe digital life is already here in the form of Bitcoin, and it’s much more like plant life than mammalian life.
