As the metaverse and web3 fashion continues to heat up in 2022, we are organising a lot more IRL and also online events to continue to further bring the community together and educate and invite new members into the network.
With that, one of the key locations will start here in New York, where one of the active DIGITALAX community members, k3ndogz, has seized the initiative to lead some of the first DIGITALAX grassroots casual community gatherings.
At the end of day, we are so much more than our fascinating Twitter threads and PFPs— intrinsic relationships and connections between community members is what ultimately drives us to recognise how much more we can do when we meet up and collaborate with our internet friends in person or even still on the net 😆
K3ndogz will be organising the first events soon, with more details shared and announced by him shortly. See below for his initial post and fill out the Google survey if you’re interested.
There is a $W3F bounty for any community member that wants to start leading more globally based events, networking opportunities and the like… reach out!
Hi Everyone, I am @k3ndogz!
It is no secret I love this community, and It is also no secret I have been trying to learn more about everyone’s role in the community. Unfortunately, I can’t always make it to existing meetings due to work or personal obligations, but I really would love to get to know everyone in a non-formal environment!
I do not want to take any credit for this idea, I have seen individual realms doing something similar, and I think it would be great if we did this as a community!
If you live in NYC and are comfortable meeting in person, there is a bar I go to called “One Star” on West 24th and 7th Avenue. I go there so much the bartenders know my name and give me free shots all the time.
It’s a great place to hang if you are interested. (There is absolutely no pressure if you are not comfortable meeting in person. Covid cases have seen a huge spike, and your comfort and safety are way more important!) If you don’t live in the NYC area or are not comfortable with meeting in person, we will be doing to do a Zoom Happy Hour. I will be the host and coordinate. I have lots of ideas and activities planned! Thank you so much, I hope you all have a great day.
Sincerely,
k3ndogz (Twitter = @K3ndogz| Discord = K3ndogz#8810)
You can fill out this Google form of Ken’s to express interest and he will reach out!
Hope to see you at one of the events!
