The Rainbow Trader status

**Introdution**
I’m the author of probably the worst BTC trading robots that trade based on the Fear and Greed index and the Rainbow chart.
These two strategies operate on their own account with 10 USD initial deposits. They started 26th Nov and have been trying to decide whether to sell, buy or do nothing once per day since then.

**Status**
Monthly status 26th Nov to 26th Dec
The Rainbow Chart has been in HODL territory all this time, so this strategy has done absolutely nothing, pretty boring.
The Fear and Greed Index however has been in pretty depressive territory, so this strategy has pretty much spent all it’s USD on BTC – A good choice if you ask me.

Status as of 4th January
The Rainbow Chart strategy created it’s first order, due to reaching “Still Cheap” status!

**Strategy Value before filling orders on 4th Jan:**
Strategy: Fear and Greed
Account value: 9.29 USD
USD: 0.51
BTC: 0.00018924

Strategy: Rainbow
Account value: 10 USD
USD: 10
BTC: 0
​
**Conclusion**
Seeing this period in isolation, it would have been best to stay with USD – hopefully this changes when market bounces.

**Future**
I would like to add more strategies, so please fill me in if you have some “potentially good” ideas in mind!
