DITÁGE transforms our creative inheritance into a new digital heritage. As a digital fashion brand shaped by the mix of visual cultural heritage and modern technologies, it creates new forms of virtual craft.
This realm and the worlds beyond move at lightning speed. It’s no wonder we often tend to forget what carried us to where we are now.
DITÁGE is devoted to the popularization of cultural encodings through iconic digital craftsmanship. It appeals to the interplay between past histories and traditions of innovation towards greater leaps forward in progress. Haute couture, Alta moda, whatever you wish to call it — we are all rooted in digital worlds drawing from the craft of culture with deep memory. Inspired by our shared visual histories, we rethink and renew ourselves through what we wear to become entirely Metaverse ready.
As an initial base, the first collections will be dedicated to exploring thousands of years of distinctive Ukrainian visual and cultural history.
Step by step, DITÁGE enhances this practice through research and renewal of traditional crafts and their new derivatives throughout the world.
In service to the recognition that the more we know about and come to understand each other, each digital work is accompanied by an active co-educational component. Through streaming media and interactive content through broad spanning mediums, a more engaged and collaborative cultural exchange through conversation and study can reach global scale.
In tandem, as we discuss the restrictive and controlling elements of traditional practices in web2, we can better understand how to overcome the limitations, hostilities, and abuses that have held us back, and make a better path through networked self-sovereignty for all in web3.
By providing a bridge for traditional craftspeople and pre-digital artisans into these new decentralized digital mediums, DITÁGE will complete the braid in fabric and culture between the heritage of countless generations and the inherent creative freedom, empowerment, and dignity we all share.
