Luna Foundation buys more bitcoins for $176 million

Terra (LUNA) keeps adding to its bitcoin (BTC) holdings, buying 4,130 bitcoin in the last 48 trading hours.
- After having bought 5,040 Bitcoin with a total price of around 227 million US dollars a few trading days ago, the Luna Foundation further increased its Bitcoin holdings in the last two trading days.
- The non-profit organization bought another 4,130 bitcoin (BTC) for around $176 million.
- This means the Luna Foundation currently owns 39,897 Bitcoin with an equivalent value of around $1.7 billion and ranks just below carmaker Tesla (TSLA), which currently owns 42,902 Bitcoin, according to its financial statements.
- The aim of the planned Bitcoin purchases totaling 10 billion US dollars is to secure the in-house UST stablecoin.
