Mining is bitcoin’s Achille’s Heel?

Bitcoin CAN be taken down through a concerted effort on the part of world governments. At least this is the premise of the following article. It’s a sobering view. I personally believe that countries would not be willing to take this action due to greed but I could definitely be wrong on this.
