The timing of the next halving will coincide with the timing of the next recession. Recessions tend to increase the value of assets like gold and also prompt macroeconomic policy responses like monetary expansion and increased government spending, which devalue fiat. This is a remarkable convergence of factors that could prove explosive for bitcoin price. I plan to continue to accumulate and not get distracted by near-term price movements or talking head FUD.
