Can we allow fees below 1 sat/vByte?

Hi, I almost always use 1.01 sat/vByte fees, around 144-200 sats (5-10 cents) fee in all my transactions.

But, I was wondering, what is preventing us from using fees below 1 sat/vBytes?

Let’s say we can do 0.01 sat/vByte so the final fee can be 10x lower around 20 sats only.

If you check [https://mempool.space/](https://mempool.space/) we are already using decimal places very often.

I have tried searching for some answers to my specific question about fees below 1 sat but I couldn’t find a good response. In theory I see we can do something similar to what we already do in Lightning and round the millisat (1/1000 sat) to the nearest sat and adjust the fee according to that.
