Has anyone tries to compile the first release version of Bitcoin in linux?

This is just for pure curiosity.
Imagine I would want to mimic the genesis of Bitcoin and I would like to compile and run the first release version (maybe the first tag v0.1.5 [https://ift.tt/TeZwx4vbitcoin/bitcoin/tags?after=v0.2.9) )
Is there anyone who already tried to compile, in linux, and run this?
