Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to remain surrounded by optimistic predictions despite the market volatility. Now, an influential executive at Galaxy Digital said that the two most important coins in the crypto space could explode by 2023.
BTC and ETH to see new heights in 2023
According to the latest reports, during a new interview with Kitco News, Galaxy Digital’s trading division co-head Jason Urban says that BTC and ETH will son new ATHs.
According to the latest predictions, the digital assets could go up 100% each by Q2 2023.
“If you had asked me at the start of the year, I would have said I see Bitcoin at $100,000 [and Ether in the] $6,500 – $7,000 range. Do I think that there are headwinds to that? Potentially. Do I think that it’s going to matter? No.”
According to the same interview:
“So if it’s not the end of the year, it could be Q1 of next year [or] Q2. It is going to happen. The sheer number of people that are stepping into this space I feel is going to just continue to you know push that and the fact that there’s such utility.”
Urban also notes that Ethereum could one day flip Bitcoin, but it’s also important to note that he doesn’t think it will happen any time soon.
He was asked whether or not ETH could flip BTC by host Michell Makori, and Urban said the following:
“I think at some point yes, but is it imminent? No. Do I think it’s something we’re going to see in the next two to three years? That’s probably the soonest, and I could be wrong on that. I don’t think it’s anytime soon.”
