After only 12 days on the market, an ultraprivate estate in Studio City, CA, has a contingent offer. The seller is none other than Leah Remini, and the $12,995,000 list price puts the home at the top of the market for Studio City.
The sprawling home on a sizable lot of 1.58 acres is located in one of the San Fernando Valley’s most private and prestigious enclaves, Fryman Canyon.
Remini will likely miss neighbors such as George and Amal Clooney, Bruno Mars, Jeff Probst, Lucy Liu, and Daveed Diggs. But a potential 300% profit might be comforting for the actress and her husband, actor Angelo Pagán, who bought the house in 2003 for $3.75 million.
Since then, the place has undergone extensive renovations.
Gated estate
The actress doubtless felt secure behind the gates of this very exclusive, four-residence community. Her own home is gated as well.
Within the mansion’s 10,326 square feet of living space, there are six bedroom suites, nine bathrooms, and three fireplaces.
The primary suite is a standout, with its double bathrooms and closets, sitting room, and views of the San Gabriel Mountains.
The estate’s parklike grounds feature a resort-style pool and spa, natural landscaping, and lounging areas. Mature trees offer even more privacy.
The property includes a detached dance studio.
Remini, 52, is best known for starring opposite Kevin James in “King of Queens” and “Kevin Can Wait,” as well as her Emmy-winning docuseries, “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.”
She is currently working toward an associate’s degree in liberal arts at New York University and co-hosting the podcast “Scientology: Fair Game.” Recently, she served as a judge on Season 17 of “So You Think You Can Dance.”
