Non Staking, Non Leveraged Scenario

Hi guys,

What would happen if we all cold storage our bitcoin instead of staking them on various exchanges or third partly places (Celcius, BlockFi, [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com) etc)

Obviously, by staking on these sites, we earn interest but we also provide the ability for people to leverage trade or take out loans. If we all pulled all possible coins off exchanges and cold storage them in our possession would the price spike or would there be more or less volatility?
