Blockchain B2B software as a service (SaaS) provider Openware, a Yellow company, and Hacken, a cybersecurity consulting company, announced a strategic technology partnership. The partnership aims to perform security assessments and secure users’ digital assets of the upcoming Yellow Network with Hacken’s specialized blockchain audit services.

Hacken and Openware have been collaborating in 2021 on multiple fronts, mainly focused on Openware Hackademy – a free blockchain software development school for young students to learn the basics of development methodologies, modern cloud tech to power dynamic web applications and fintech technologies.

Openware has launched a public vulnerability and bug hunting program with Hacken for ethical cybersecurity experts aimed to harden Openware’s alpha Yellow Exchange software stack with a $5,000 reward at Hackenproof.

Openware hardens blockchain code security, conducts penetration testing and performs cybersecurity assessment for developing Yellow Network – an unprecedented worldwide cross-chain overlay network to exchange trading quotes and liquidity between cryptocurrency exchange platforms and institutions.

Openware, Inc. is a San Francisco blockchain product company recently acquired by Yellow, providing innovative product solutions known for building and supporting over 150 crypto exchange platforms with the open-source digital asset exchange platform OpenDAX.
