The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Vicki Gunvalson is embarking on more life changes.

After leaving the reality TV show, where she was an original cast member, Gunvalson is now vacating her smaller residence in Coto de Caza, CA. It’s on the market for $1,599,000.

Gunvalson picked up the petite digs in April 2021 for $1,035,000. She then embarked on a stylish renovation and shared the results on social media.

“Final touches completed today. After 4 months of living in my new home, it’s finally finished,” she wrote in August, showcasing photos of the interiors.

Dramatic redesign

The space has gone through a dramatic transformation. As shown on Instagram, the home originally featured dark wood cabinetry and ornate chandeliers. The new look is white and bright.

Now that her “jewel box” has been made over, the O.G. of the O.C. is leaving the home behind. If she gets her asking price, she’ll walk off with a tidy profit—minus the cost of the redesign, of course.

Located in a guard-gated community, the three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom abode is entered through a private courtyard. Inside, the 2,400-square-foot home has been updated “to the highest standards, and features designer finishes in every room,” the listing says.

On the ground floor, the open layout features a living room, a dining room, and a bedroom, which has an en suite bathroom.

Also on this level, the family room features a fireplace, bar area, and adjacent kitchen.

Upstairs, you’ll find the primary suite with a balcony and spa bathroom.

Design details include shiplap ceilings, Calacatta gold marble, gold-tone hardware, and warm wood flooring.

Outside, entertainment options include multiple seating areas, a built-in barbecue, and a fireplace.

Amenities in the community include a golf and racquet club for members, hiking, biking, horse trails, and an equestrian center.

Swanky estate

Previously, Gunvalson owned a nearby, much larger home often showcased on “Real Housewives.” Fans will remember the lush backyard, and its pool and waterfall, as well as the fancy and light-filled interior. Listed for $3.35 million in 2020, the mansion eventually sold for $3 million in March 2021.

The founder of Coto Insurance also picked up a condo for vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She briefly owned a North Carolina lake house, which she purchased in order to be closer to her family.

Gunvalson appeared for 14 seasons on the reality TV series, until calling it quits in 2020. She can be seen on Season 2 of the spinoff show “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”

Flo Bullock and John Russell with Bullock Russell Real Estate Services hold the listing.
